In 2017 we started our first research for Urban Terrazzo with urban waste from Berlin.
What started out as a research on local urban waste, soon turned into the development of a
new sustainable material, which preserves the unique character of original architectures.

In 2017 THEY FEED OFF BUILDINGS we were invited by the Pudil Family Foundation to create a first prototype series of Urban Terrazzo for the commissioned conversion of an old transformer house into a new centre for modern and contemporary art.

In collaboration with Werkstudio Axel Kufus the interiors were planned, including the sample design from the demolition waste of the specific Modernist architecture of the site.
